Food for thought...

Hey there Bomb Squad,
The amount of diet variations out there are endless and it can be so overwhelming. When clients ask what I do, I share that I'm not really a fan of dieting. I feel like it is a quick fix and unsustainable. Life is crazy enough as it is, the last thing you should have to do is restrict yourself from life's simple indulgences... maybe that's just the foodie in me. This is not to say you should go to town and eat McDonald's every day, I feel like balance & everything in moderation is key!
With this mindset, you are eliminating the probability of heading down a slippery slope of binge eating. So if you feel like eating that cookie, go for it, just don't do it on the daily!
My life feels like a whirlwind, where days and weeks are merged together, am I the only one?
I find that to ensure that my family and I are eating properly, I must meal prep, that's just what works for us.
Sunday is the day which I try to prep for the week. My morning mainly consists of washing, chopping all my produce, giving no excuse to pick those not so healthy options like crackers or cookies. Not to mention that eating fruits and veggies is much more satiating.
Both my boys were both born with a hallow leg, all jokes aside, it blows my minds how much they consume in a day and I can't even imagine what life will be like when they are teenagers. Meal prep allows for everything to be easily accessible, so my kids can often help themselves to a healthier alternative during the day.
Are you a fan of meal prepping? If so, what is your favourite meal prep hack?
